Coordinators
Sarah Zangle
Sarah is a proud parent to her step-son Alex (recent PPS grad), Charlie (PPS 2nd grader) and Sophie (very, very excited almost kindergartener). She and Rhett, her partner, are both in the medical field.
She has a optimistic and positive attitude the future of PPS if community feedback and wisdom are truly incorporated in the planning process.
Jazlynn Worthy
Jazlynn is a single mom with a heart that is shared equally amongst her four children. Three of which are currently PPS students and the youngest joining them soon. It is because of them that she dedicates her time, effort, and resources towards advocating for equity in education in our city.
Mike Cummins
Mike is the proud dad of a PPS 1st grader (Trey) and incoming kindergartener (Amber), and husband of Elizabeth.
While Mike’s expertise is in real estate and construction, he is passionate about developing an innovative new way of thinking about education across our district - ideas that place equitable access to a high quality education in every school at the forefront, while retaining our existing students and attracting students back to PPS.
Erin Childs
Erin (2nd from left) is a proud PPS mom to a sixth-grade artist and twin fifth-graders (a scientist and an engineer). She and her wife have nurtured their daughters’ career aspirations and she wants to help lift up all of the children in our District the same way,
She is an ardent supporter of having school choice within our public school system so that families don’t need to look elsewhere.
Special Thanks
The PPS Community Proposal would not have been possible without the input and work of hundreds (probably thousands) of parents, students, staff, and community stakeholders that can’t all be listed here - their many invaluable contributions are greatly appreciated!
